Client Account Settings in the EMR

Overview

The Account Settings tab in the Pathfinder EMR is accessible via the Settings option on the top bar of the client's profile page. This is where you can manage five distinct functions:

  • Export client data
  • Set the client to inactive
  • Disable their platform account
  • Reset their MFA (multifactor authentication)
  • Resend their platform invitation

Exporting Client Data

  • Open the client's profile and navigate to Account Settings.
  • Select Export Client Data.
  • Choose the specific information to include — such as assessments, appointments, IRPs, start date, and end date.
  • Click Download to generate the file.

Managing Client Status 

  • To set a client to inactive, click the Set Client to Inactive option.
  • To fully remove their access, select Disable Platform Account.

Note: Disabling a platform account is distinct from setting a client to inactive. Inactive clients retain their account record; disabled accounts cannot access the platform.


Resetting MFA 

  • Navigate to the client's Account Settings.
  • Select Reset User MFA.
  • The client will be prompted to set up multi-factor authentication again on their next login.


Resending Platform Invitation

If a client did not receive their login invitation or cannot locate it:

  1. Navigate to the client's Account Settings.
  2. Select Resend Invitation.
  3. The client will receive their login credentials again at their registered email address.


Troubleshooting 

Client data export cuts off when downloaded to PDF — Try exporting a smaller date range or fewer data types at once. If the issue persists, check the size and page layout of the PDF.
